Arena Master is a Canadian-built software platform that provides scoring, player profiles, badge achievements, bookings, waivers, and related tools to competitive venues, leagues, and organisations. We are based in Ontario, Canada and operate in compliance with Canadian law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
When you create an account, you receive a unique Arena Tag — a 6-character code that identifies you across every venue powered by Arena Master. This tag is both your identity and your credential for signing in. You should:
You are responsible for activity that takes place under your Arena Tag.
Venues do not see your tag. Your Arena Tag is stored on the Arena Master platform and used only by you to sign in. It is never displayed to venue staff or shared with any venue. This is what keeps the tag safe to use as both a login and a password — your public identity at a venue is your display name, not your tag.
Each venue that uses Arena Master is an independent business. They set their own hours, prices, waivers, rules, and events. We host their scoring, player list, and digital services — but we do not run their physical venue, employ their staff, or set their venue-specific policies.
When you sign a waiver at a venue, that waiver is a legal agreement between you and that venue. When you book a session or attend an event, that arrangement is with the venue. If a venue closes, changes hands, or stops using Arena Master, your account with Arena Master itself is unaffected — but any venue-specific rights or credits are between you and that venue.
You agree to use Arena Master respectfully and lawfully. In particular, you agree not to:
Venues may flag, hide, or remove accounts that break these rules at their venue. Arena Master may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules across the platform.
Independent accounts require the user to be at least 16 years old. Younger participants join as linked family members of an adult guardian's account. The guardian is responsible for the linked member's activity and any venue waivers that apply.
A linked family member can convert to an independent account once they reach 16, at which point they accept these terms in their own right. This conversion is initiated by the guardian who owns the parent account.
Arena Master does not collect selfies for display use. Your identity on lane displays and leaderboards is represented by your display name or by badge imagery you have earned — never by a player-uploaded selfie. This is a deliberate safety measure that prevents inappropriate images from appearing in front of other players.
Your display nickname is reviewed by venue staff before it appears on public surfaces. Until a nickname is approved, your first name is shown instead.
The only place a player-provided image is kept is in your optional Digital Sports Card. A Sports Card is yours to share person-to-person — like a digital contact card or adding a friend — and the image on it is only visible to players you share the card with. It is never displayed on public venue surfaces without your explicit sharing action.
Scoring activity — throws, rounds, games, badges earned, session history — is generated as you play. By participating, you grant Arena Master and the venue you are playing at a limited licence to display that activity in the context it was produced — on your profile, on venue leaderboards, on lane displays, and in your session history.
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Your waiver signatures, if any, are retained by the venue you signed them with for legal purposes even if you later delete your account, in which case your personal information is anonymised but the signature record is retained.
We aim to keep Arena Master available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or temporarily suspend features. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime, data loss due to events outside our reasonable control, or the actions of individual venues using the platform.
You may request deletion of your Arena Master account at any time. We will anonymise your personal data and remove you from public surfaces. Your waiver signatures with individual venues are retained by those venues as required by law.
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, that are used fraudulently, or at our reasonable discretion if your continued use of the platform creates risk for other users or venues.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the version number at the top of this page is incremented and the date is updated. Continued use of Arena Master after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the player portal.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply. Any disputes relating to Arena Master itself will be handled in Ontario courts. Disputes relating to individual venues are handled under the venue's own terms and applicable local law.
Questions about these terms or about your Arena Master account can be directed to [email protected]. Questions about a specific venue — pricing, bookings, waivers, events — should be directed to that venue.
